An insulated, reinforced aluminized trilaminate flexible air duct; mechanically locked together by a corrosive resistant galvanized steel helix. The core is covered with GREENGUARD certified JM Formaldehyde-free™ thick fiberglass insulation, and sleeved by a flame retardant non toxic polyethylene vapor barrier.This ULC-S110 and UL-181 Class 1 Product, combined with a reinforced liner and thermal features, produce a duct assembly ideal for energy efficient HVAC installations.

Suggested Specification
Flexible duct shall be Fabriflex Type 5T by Flexmaster. It will be constructed of a reinforced aluminized trilaminate which is mechanically bonded to a corrosive resistant outside metal helix. The core will be factory wrapped with  GREENGUARD certified JM Formaldehyde-free™ thick fiberglass insulation and covered by a flame retardant, non-toxic polyethylene vapour barrier. Flexible insulated duct connections will be listed in accordance with ULC-S110 and classified as Class 1. For increased protection against punctures and overall duct strength, also available with mylar vapor barrier sleeve Fab™5M.
